A driver in a possibly stolen car took police on a chase that ended in a crash near a school in Westchester.

Westchester County Police officers attempted to pull over the driver of a possibly stolen Dodge Charger on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Police reportedly lost sight of the Charger around the area of St. Vincent’s Hospital before it struck a car near the Harrison Avenue Elementary School.

A County Police spokesperson said that the suspect then fled from the vehicle.
